I have had many technical discussions with him, and have enjoyed sharing war stories from the "old school." Corey's company offers many different training classes, which you may find useful if you would like to attempt SEO yourself.
  
  
• Roy Morejon of B2WE - Roy's current expertise is in the social media realm, but he has had plenty of Internet Marketing and SEO experience. It is my professional opinion that social media will become an important element in SEO, so he would be a good person to talk to.

• Jon Payne of Ephricon - Jon owns the Ephricon agency which just expanded into the Charlotte area from Baltimore. I haven't known Jon that long, but have had quite a few lengthy and techincal SEO discussions which left me with a positive impression of his SEO talent.

• Brandon Adcock - Brandon used to be the in house SEM at Lowes before he became an independent affiliate marketer. He now runs his own direct marketing company. Brandon has a lot of useful info on his blog, and has impressed me with his knowledge on high volume traffic. He is not a consultant but he does answer questions on Twitter when he has time.
  
  
• Jason Keath - Jason is one of the top social media experts in Charlotte, and perhaps nationwide. He has been a guest speaker at SEMCLT and offers a lot of good insight into the growing world of social media. Jason is the founder of the successful Social Fresh social media conference.
  
  
• Chad Ledford and Jon West of 3Tailer - Chad and Jon are ecommerce experts and by default and are seasoned professionals in the world of SEO and Internet Marketing. These guys aren't consultants, but provide a lot of useful information on their blog. You can ask them a question on Twitter.
  
  
• Josh McGlinn - Josh is probably one of the best graphic designers/interactive media/creative guys in Charlotte NC. If you need something extraordinary in respects to design, he is a person to consider.
  
  
• Studio Banks - Studio Banks is small web design agency in Charlotte that produces websites that are really a work of art. They win multiple ADDY's each year for a reason.
  
  
• NetPhase - is a web development company that specializes in creating some pretty amazing backend applications. I met Chris Beck at Barcamp Charlotte 2009 and he really impressed me with his Ruby on Rails knowledge
  
  
• Red Ventures - is a private customer acquisition company here in Charlotte NC. I've met a couple of people that work there and they are all very talented. Very high speed company! Put them here just because they are worth mentioning!
