• Jon Payne & David Zimmerman of Ephricon - Jon owns the Ephricon agency which just expanded into the Charlotte area from Baltimore. David is one of his lead SEO's. I really like both of these guys and have enjoyed meetups and professional conferences with them. In fact, I like the entire Ephricon Team, they do SEO right. Check them out!
  
  
• Keith Schilling of OnTopResultsLLC.com - Keith is the original founder of SEMCLT.com and I met him a few years ago at the very first meeting. Keith and I see eye to eye on SEO ethics, and I have seen results he has obtained first hand.
  
  
• Corey Creed of Hippo Internet Marketing Training - Corey has a respectable tenure in Internet Marketing. I have had many technical discussions with him, and have enjoyed sharing war stories from the "old school." Corey's company offers many different training classes, which you may find useful if you would like to attempt SEO yourself.
  
  
• Robert Enriquez of PageClub.com - Robert is the Founder of SearchExchange.org, a 3day internet marketing conference. His articles has been featured on SEOMoz, and is a frequent guest author at SearchEngineJournal. He works as an SEO Consultant to mid to large sized businesses.
  
  
• Travis Zboch - Saw Travis speak at a SEMCLT event a few months ago. Was really impresseed with his presentation. He's also on the first page for "trees", so that says a lot.
  
  
  

Notable Internet Marketing, Social Media, and Web Development professionals in Charlotte NC

In no paticular order is a list of other professionals in Charlotte that aren't focused on SEO, but have impressed me with the parts of Internet Marketing they specialize in:

• Brandon Adcock - Brandon used to be the in house SEM at Lowes before he became an independent affiliate marketer. He now runs his own direct marketing company. Brandon has a lot of useful info on his blog, and has impressed me with his knowledge on high volume traffic. He is not a consultant but he does answer questions on Twitter when he has time.
  
  
• Chad Ledford and Jon West of 3Tailer - Chad and Jon are ecommerce experts and by default and are seasoned professionals in the world of SEO and Internet Marketing. These guys aren't consultants, but provide a lot of useful information on their blog. You can ask them a question on Twitter.
  
  
• Les Porter - smart guy, and i've worked with him on a few things. Curently the head of product over at KYCK.
  
  
• Red Ventures - is a private customer acquisition company here in Charlotte NC. I've met a couple of people that work there and they are all very talented. Very high speed company! Put them here just because they are worth mentioning!
  
  
• Jeremy Hewitt - probably hands down one of the best CSS guys in the Charlotte area! Code can't get any cleaner than this.
